It’s almost 2018, and haven’t you heard, taking sexual assault seriously is totally in right now! The ever-evolving social rules now state that we can dig up old assault allegations that were formerly dismissed way back when it wasn’t kosher to believe the accuser! So let’s squint our eyes and furrow our brows now over the next name on our list of former untouchables… Vice President Al Gore… Come on down!
Back in 2006, Gore was accused of sexual assault by 3 separate massage therapists. The first alleged he pleaded with her to “release his second chakra”. Here’s her story:
Gore also requested work on his abdomen. When that began, “He became somewhat vocal with muffled moans, etc.,” the masseuse recounted. Gore then “demand[ed] that I go lower.” When she remained focused on a “safe, nonsexual” area, Gore grew “angry, becoming verbally sharp and loud.”
The masseuse asked Gore what he wanted. “He grabbed my right hand, shoved it down under the sheet to his pubic hair area, my fingers brushing against his penis,” she recalled, “and said to me, ‘There!’ in a very sharp, loud, angry-sounding tone.” When she pulled back, Gore “angrily raged” and “bellowed” at her.
Then, abruptly, the former vice president changed tone. It was “as though he had very suddenly switched personalities,” she recalled, “and began in a pleading tone, pleading for release of his second chakra there.”
“Chakra,” in Gore’s new-agey jargon, refers to the body’s “energy centers,” which the masseuse interpreted as having a specific meaning. “This was yet another euphemism for sexual activity he was requesting,” she told police, “put cleverly as though it were a spiritual request or something.”
The time for double standards is over, liberal media. It’s time to prove you really care about women. It starts with you, New York Times. Take down Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Al Franken, John Conyers, and any more of your idols that are revealed as the dominoes fall. There will be more. Probably some you will really hate to see. (Has anyone started a sex assault deadpool yet?)
Here’s your last chance, liberal media: If you want to earn some trust back from the American people, take the accusers seriously, and clean up the mess you’ve enabled.
