Conservative Review’s Daniel Horowitz has been the voice of “Gloom & Doom” on CRTV’s Steve Deace show and for a very good reason. He points how our courts have become a super legislator branch and an extension of the progressives goal for ultimate control over the masses. Our Supreme Court decided to allow a few gun control laws in Maryland to stand, thus disarming its people from owning so-called “assault weapons” and large magazines. Meanwhile, the lawbreakers will go to any means to get assault weapons (and worse) and large magazines giving them an advantage over the innocent. Our second amendments rights will be gutted by the lower courts and all that SCOTUS has to do is sit back and watch public opinion go the way of the progressive Marxists.
Oh, and your government will not give up its guns, for they will use them on you and me to submit to their plunder and exploitation of us while they enjoy a good gorge. When a progressive politician compares themselves to Robin Hood, just remind their cult followers that Robin Hood was an outlaw wanted by his government of the day. That progressive politician in reality, is King John. We the American citizenry are becoming the outlaws and we are Robin Hood.
In the meantime, let us try to put a “check” on our courts if they are going to be political animals. They need to be treated as such. Just another reason why we need a Convention of States or enough fighting will to fight another bloody civil war… if all peaceful means to remedy our rights to liberty and freedom is not resolved.
Under our current erroneous system, Supreme Court precedent is more powerful than God, certainly much more than any other branch of government. But that’s only true when SCOTUS decides to nullify the Constitution and natural law. When the Supreme Court decides to recognize the plain meaning of the Constitution in a particular case, then precedent means nothing, and states and lower federal courts are free to violate it with impunity.
That was essentially the message from the Supreme Court yesterday when it refused to grant an appeal of yet another lower court ruling that violated its Heller decision. This proves, once again, that the Supreme Court is a one-way street and a dead end on the Constitution. We will lose our country to judicial supremacy that is destroying the states and preventing the federal government from following the Constitution. It appears that not even the SCOTUS will rein in states that violate the most foundational portions of the Bill of Rights.
