The transition of all things political to a daily reality show is complete. We’ve always known, thanks to pesky Russian email thieves and Julian Assange, that the DNC and the Clinton campaign were really one in the same entity, colluding against Bernie Sanders, and seeking to “elevate” the campaign of Donald Trump, who they considered the most beatable (they weren’t alone in this evaluation).
At the same time they were “elevating” Trump, they were priming the pump for negative press and all kinds of terrible stories about him, when he was about the clinch the nomination. There was the “grab them by the p***y” story, various other sexual innuendoes, and Trump’s own statements used against him. And there was the “dossier” filled with allegations of Russian sex parties and “golden showers.” The Trump Russia dossier was so out-there that the FBI said they had not an inkling of corroboration on it.
After the election, in January, Buzzfeed, with zero evidence of the veracity of their “scoop” (which in fact had been shopped to all the major media), published it. FBI Director James Comey personally briefed Trump on the dossier and its contents–knowing that Christopher Steele, the British former intelligence officer who compiled it, was working for the FBI itself.
Fusion GPS, the shadowy oppo research firm that paid Steele, has been fighting Congress tooth-and-nail, invoking their Fifth Amendment rights, and battling Rep. Devin Nunes subpoena of its bank records to discover who paid what to whom.
Now we know that the Clinton campaign paid law firm Perkins Coie $5.6 million in an 18 month period for legal fees, and the DNC paid $3.6 million in a 13 month period. Some of the cash was paid to Fusion GPS, which was used to pay Steele, for the “dossier” work.
End of the line
There’s an end to this dirty story. The problem is we may not find out until the finale, where House Clinton collapses, leaving its reality stars really wondering “what happened?”
The same crew who covered up the Uranium One deal in 2014 is now investigating the Trump campaign’s potential links to Russia. These are some of the same DOJ characters, who, along with Comey, knew of Steele, because he was reportedly “respected by the FBI.”
Even after the election, the Obama administration, along with the DNC and the Clinton campaign, continued to push as much dirt as they could on Trump.
Now we’ve reached the end of the line. Fusion GPS is going to have to come clean at some point, or we’re going to have them slapped with contempt of Congress. The FBI will have to come clean. Whatever efforts were made by Democrats in an out of government to pin collusion on Trump are going to be exposed. Then what purpose will Robert Mueller serve? How much credibility will his investigation have?
The whole thing is about to come to its exciting conclusion (as a reality show should).
Some of the details are included in a Tuesday letter sent by Perkins Coie to a lawyer representing Fusion GPS, telling the research firm that it was released from a client-confidentiality obligation. The letter was prompted by a legal fight over a subpoena for Fusion GPS’s bank records.
BREAKING: DNC, Hillary Campaign Paid To Compile Trump-Russia Dossier, Clinton Lawyer Allegedly Lied About It | Ben Shapiro, Daily Wire
That dossier contained allegations ranging from the credible to the wild — the wildest, of course, being the accusation that Trump had hired prostitutes while in Moscow to urinate on a bed slept on by the Obamas. Clinton campaign lawyer Elias allegedly denied for a year that he had anything to do with the dossier. Fusion GPS has Russian ties of its own.
Incestuous: The DNC, Hillary Clinton, and the FBI Were All Shaping the So-Called Trump Dossier | Erick Erickson, The Resurgent
Hillary Clinton and the DNC were involved as well. This should all be kept in mind as the Democrats continue to claim Russia stole the election and that Donald Trump has all sorts of nefarious ties to Russia. Many of those claims, now, appear to really have been generated in an incestuous relationship of sore losers.

The real Russia scandal? Clinton campaign paid for the fake Russia dossier, then lied about it & covered it up. https://t.co/kR8z2zsZ7Q

So Clinton/DNC paid for Trump dossier.
1 What's the point of Mueller probe?
2 Was dossier used to justify Obama unmasking Americans?

This is all tied together. Even without a tin-foil-hat conspiracy, it’s pretty obvious that the players were rooting against Trump. They did everything they could to cover up DNC and Clinton campaign involvement. They lied about it.
In the end, it didn’t matter from an election point of view. Trump is so toxic and dines on mud so throwing mud at him has no effect. Proving Trump stole the election using Russians when it’s proven that the Democrats and Obama administration paid for fabricated Russia dirt on Trump is now pretty much a non-starter.
I say let Mueller pack his bags right now, because unless he’s going to indict Paul Manafort tomorrow, the gig is fairly well up.
But stay tuned.
