It’s too late, Nancy.

If Mitt Romney was president (in 2012), he’d be in his second term now, and America wouldn’t be dealing with Russian interference, ISIS would be past-tense, and political civil discourse in America would be–well, civil. I suppose that’s the good news.
I am also curious to think about what a Romney presidency would have been like. We’d probably have RomeyCare, and all kinds of Democrat-friendly programs. We’d be the envy of the globalist world in many ways, running too and fro to put out fires as the world police. Democrats would like that too. Conservatives, not so much.
But regardless, you Democrats killed that idea, and cynically promoted the candidate you thought you could beat easiest. He turned out to be a real bummer for you. No wonder you’re nostalgic and pining for Romney.
