The only thing worse in investigative journalism than statements being taken out of context to make someone look bad is clear bias demonstrated by employees at a publication that claims to be unbiased. With these two conflicting ideas at play in this Project Veritas video, we opted to go down the route of the lesser of two evils.
Desiree Shoe, which Project Veritas claims is a “homepage Sr. Editor” at the New York Times, certainly displayed her bias over drinks. While she thinks President Trump is “an idiot in a lot of ways,” she feels Vice President Pence might be worse. Why? Because he’s “extremely religious” to the point of hinting at conversion therapy for gay people through electrocution.
