More questions were raised than answered by Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo in his latest update on the Las Vegas massacre investigation. He said there were over 100 investigators working to track down the thousands of leads and details in the past 72 hours.
Investigators claim they still don’t know Stephen Paddock’s motive, but some details are becoming clearer–though they don’t inspire confidence that the case is drawing close to a conclusion. The most troubling questions deal with a possible accomplice.
“Do you think this was all accomplished on his own?” Lombardo said to reporters on Wednesday. “Self value, face value, you got to make the assumption that he had to have had some help at some point. And we want to ensure that that’s the answer. Maybe he’s a super guy … [he] was working out all of this on his own. But it’d be hard for me to believe that.”
Other questions that are still unanswered:
- Why did Paddock choose the Route 91 festival as his target?
- How did he get 42 guns of different types and several thousand rounds of ammunition and electronics up to his room without being noticed?
- How did he procure at least 30 guns in the last 12 months without raising anyone’s suspicion?
- Why did he shoot at a jet fuel tank at McCarran International Airport from the other window he broke?
- If there was no suicide note, why does Lombardo believe Paddock intended to get out alive?
- Where did Paddock practice his skills and train using the “bump stock” device?
- What, if any, video did Paddock made of himself during the attack?
- Who may have helped him, and are there any other “persons of interest”?
- Is girlfriend Marilou Danley believable or is her alibi a little too perfect?

REPORT: Las Vegas Shooter Filmed Himself During Massacre | Daily Wire
The Las Vegas gunman responsible for shooting over 550 people reportedly filmed himself during the rampage, according to multiple reports. The latest revelation into shooter Stephen Paddock on Tuesday is that he had cameras set up in the hallway to know when police were closing in on his position but also reportedly had a device recording him in his hotel room as he fired upon thousands of concertgoers. “Las Vegas madman Stephen Paddock set up a camera inside his hotel room to capture his deadly shooting rampage — and other surveillance in the hallway to alert him as cops closed in on him,” the New York Post reported.
16 Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting That Mainstream Media Doesn’t Want To Talk About | Zero Hedge
The following are 16 unanswered questions about the Las Vegas shooting that the mainstream media does not want to talk about… #1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. #3 Why were law enforcement authorities discussing “another suspect on the fourth floor”, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this? #4 As Jon Rappoport has pointed out, it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes of shooting with the kinds of weapons that he is alleged to have used. So why won’t law enforcement authorities acknowledge this fact?

Las Vegas Strip shooter targeted aviation fuel tanks, source says – Las Vegas Review-Journal
The bullets left two holes in one of two circular white tanks. One of the bullets penetrated the tank, but did not cause a fire or explosion near the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, another knowledgeable source said late Wednesday. The tanks are roughly 1,100 feet from the concert site, where Paddock killed 58 people and wounded almost 500.
Stephen Paddock had a huge ‘gun room’, says friend | Daily Mail Online
Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock has been described as a brilliant man who had an intimate knowledge of the second amendment and a room dedicated to his guns, according to a friend. The Australian man, who wanted to remain anonymous, had multiple encounters with Paddock between 2013 and 2015 after he started dating his girlfriend’s sister. In an interview with the Guardian, the man said he knew Paddock to be highly intelligent and strategic but showed no behavior that could have predicted the massacre he carried out.
Las Vegas shooter: Kansas man was in room below at Mandalay Bay | The Kansas City Star
Like many people at the concert below, the man in the hotel room directly beneath the Las Vegas shooter’s room initially thought fireworks were going off. Floyd Conrade of Emporia, Kan., was in Vegas for business. He was getting ready for bed on the 31st floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Final thoughts
The left would love this to turn out as a Second Amendment conservative gone over the deep end. The Daily Mail actually quoted what they called a “friend” of Paddock saying “He was extremely intelligent, methodical, conservative, guarded and strategic. A planning, thinking type of guy.” The context was about gambling, but the narrative was clear: an over-60 white man with lots of guns. It sort of perfectly fits the Trump voter demographic doesn’t it?
Yet despite lots of wishing by the liberal press, it appears Paddock was completely non-political. He had a lot of guns and planned to use them to murderous effect. That doesn’t make him conservative. Che Guevara had a lot of guns too, and enjoyed killing people.
There are simply too many troubling questions remaining about this very confusing and complicated case. The biggest question, though, is if Paddock had help, who helped him? And where is that person right now?
