Terrorist attack at London subway station was ‘homemade bomb’

There has been a terror attack in Parsons Green, part of the heart of London, England. Initial reports from local sources say that it was a “homemade bomb” used to carry out the attacks. There have been at least two dozen injuries from the bombing and subsequent stampede, but no fatalities have been reported.

Scotland Yard declared it a terror incident. Prime Minister Theresa May will be meeting with the Cobra emergencies committee to discuss the attack.

Final Thoughts

Terrorism is becoming more prominent in western society. It’s important that we stay diligent and remain aware of our surroundings in public. Judging by the image of the IED, it’s very possible that it wouldn’t have made it as far as it did a decade ago before everyone spent their waiting moments in public with their faces turned to their mobile devices.
