Heather Heyer, a victim of the rally of hatred and violence that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend, was not yet cold in her grave before Donald Trump used these evil events as an opportunity to brag about his Virginia winery. However, first things first: before Republicans even get started, Obama’s actions do not excuse Donald Trump. What Hillary did wrong does not excuse Donald Trump. The movement of anger and hate on the Left does not excuse Donald Trump. This inhumane and vile individual needs to be removed from the highest office in the land.
Donald Trump has all the characteristics of a sociopath
Until this point, I considered Donald Trump a narcissistic, mentally unstable bully. Now, without reservation, I call him a sociopath.
Sociopaths are unable to connect to any other human being at any emotional level. Heather Heyer had just been murdered in the prime of her life, and when Donald Trump was asked by reporters if he was going to visit Charlottesville or the family of the victim, his response was:
“I own a house in Charlottesville. Does anyone know I own a house in Charlottesville? Oh boy! It’s in Charlottesville. You’ll see. It’s a winery.” Within seconds, amidst an onslaught of questions from the media, his bragging continued. He said: “I own actually one of the largest wineries in the United States.” This type of response, in my opinion, could only come from the lips of a sociopath.
Mr. Trump, I speak to you specifically: you were not asked about what you own or how big it is because NOBODY CARES. You were asked if you were going to visit this battle-ravaged part of Virginia and the bereaved family of Heather Heyer. Who in God’s name cares what you own or where your wineries are located? This country is in chaos. People are being murdered. Nazis are marching into America’s cities waving Hitler’s flag. United States citizens are being injured and killed by other United States citizens. The country is fractured by anger, hate and violence, and you, Mr. Trump, see only an opportunity at a press conference to brag about your properties and your own imagined greatness. You are not a normal human being.
Where are you, America?
America must work night and day to remove this evil individual from the position for which he was never qualified. Trump’s behavior should make every American physically ill, regardless of the Party to which that person has pledged allegiance.
When it was almost impossible for this pathetic, sad and despicable excuse for a president– and for that matter a human being–to become more repulsive, more disgusting and more self-obsessed, he found a way.
Trump must be removed under the 25th amendment. The man is a sociopath.
