I am a legal immigrant. It is truly insulting when people tell me my stance against illegal immigration is racist. But I don’t blame many of these people for feeling this way. Society has been systematically turned to the very blatant falsehood that opposition to illegal immigration is opposition to immigration itself.
You will rarely hear me blame anything outside of the individual or family when it comes to something that is a personal responsibility. For example, I don’t blame schools for churning out leftists. I blame parents for not preparing their children for the indoctrination they’re going to receive at school. But when it comes to the topic of illegal immigration, I have a tendency to give most people a pass for believing it’s racist to expect people to utilize the system that allows for legal immigration. It’s hard to fight against the propaganda from leftist mainstream media, the aforementioned indoctrination they’re getting in school, and the incessant talking points uttered by leftist politicians and activists.
That’s why it’s so important to express this view. Stated simply, my opposition to illegal immigration is primarily due to the harm it does to legal immigrants. Said another way, by being in favor of legal immigration, I must oppose illegal immigration. The legal immigration system is greatly harmed by those who circumvent the process. Moreover, illegal immigrants do the greatest harm to individuals, families, and communities that are comprised mostly of legal immigrants.
It’s very confusing that those who are allegedly on the side of immigrants support policies that do them the most harm. Illegal immigrants come in many forms. Most want to come to America for greater opportunities and more safety than they have in the home nations. Some want to engage in criminal activities and are willing to kill American citizens before getting deported again. Others come with the sole intention of doing harm to Americans. In all three cases, it is legal immigrants who are most often harmed by these illegal immigrants.
The latter two are obvious examples of illegal immigrants harming legal immigrants. The first group, those who come to America for opportunity and safety, also harm legal immigrants directly. They compete with them for jobs, services, and space in schools. They often do these things without paying taxes, so not only do legal immigrants have to compete with them, they also have to subsidize their needs through their tax dollars.
Social justice warriors can call me racist until they’re blue in the face, but that doesn’t change the fact that their actions and the policies they support do real harm to legal immigrants. I want to increase legal immigration. I want standards that allow the United States to bring in properly vetted foreign nationals who can improve their own lives while simultaneously aiding in making our country a better place. I want to stop the greatest threat to legal immigrants, namely the open borders that allow illegal immigrants to circumvent our laws and take from legal immigrants.
Calling me a racist for supporting legal immigration is a farce. I would be more accurate if I said those who support legal immigration by opposing border security are treasonous against our sovereign nation. I wouldn’t say that to someone, but if I did, it would be more accurate than calling me a racist for my beliefs.
Covid variant BA.5 is spreading. It appears milder but much more contagious and evades natural immunity. Best to boost your immune system with new Z-Dtox and Z-Stack nutraceuticals from our dear friend, the late Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
There’s a rather famous sonnet on a plaque at the base of the Statue of Liberty containing the line “I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door”.
Libs love to quote the poem without ever actually understanding what it ~really~ says.
The Golden Door is a portal that must be passed through, not forced open or battered off its hinges and then trampled into the dirt. The Golden Door is the entry point to such places as the modern equivalent of Ellis Island, the starting point for the process of ~lawful~ entry.
The presence of a ~door~ also implies that there ~ Is~ A Wall, as a door hanging in space might make an amusing comic device for Willie Coyote or the introduction to The Twilight Zone, but in real life is absolutely ridiculous and serves no functional purpose.
Think about it.
