Hawaiian Representative Tulsi Gabbard has announced her candidacy for President of the United States in the 2020 election. The 37-year-old Democrat has enjoyed a roller coaster ride of a short career, bouncing back and forth between being a leftist hero to being too conservative for the new Democratic Party.
In response, the GOP released a “cheat sheet” about her.
No Democrat is a match for the record number of accomplishments under @realDonaldTrump, but here’s just some of what you need to know about Tulsi Gabbard… pic.twitter.com/XCq17bRjhB

Her announcement drew instant and sharp criticism from many on the right who have taken exception to her adoration for Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.
Tulsi Gabbard has an even bigger problem than her lack of experience – it’s that she has no base of support.
Liberals think she’s too conservative, conservatives think she’s too liberal, and just about everyone thinks her coziness with Bashar al-Assad is disturbing.

Let's not forget that Tulsi Gabbard has repeatedly defended Bashar Al-Assad for using chemical weapons on innocent women and children

So far Twitter's reaction to Tulsi Gabbard 2020 has been a mix of Bashar al-Assad comments and pictures of her surfing. This isn't going to go anywhere.

I wish Tulsi Gabbard the very best of luck in her quest to be the Republican Party's nominee for president.

Ostensibly, Tulsi Gabbard checks all the correct "diversity boxes" that Democrats claim they want: young, female, minority. But weirdly, she won't benefit from satisfying these (fake) criteria, because she's hated for unrelated political reasons. So that should be fun.

Tulsi Gabbard is an embarrassment to the Democratic Party and the country. Her presidential candidacy genuinely frightens me. https://t.co/EgGie3cIW2

Tulsi Gabbard claimed to support "accountability" for those who carried out the April 2017 sarin attack in Syria. It was the regime of Bashar al-Assad, who she had personally met months earlier.
She stopped demanding accountability after the OPCW confirmed his guilt. https://t.co/hpsIJqlJGs

I’m behind on my fever swamp/Gab/8chan reading so is there a reason the alt-reich dorks like Tulsi Gabbard besides:
1. She’s pretty/they are incels
2. She likes Assad and they equate that with being anti-Israel

Whether she’s making conservative mad for supporting Bashar al-Assad or making Democrats mad for condemning the party’s attacks on religious liberties, her list of enemies seems bigger than her list of allies.
Getting in early may be the only chance she has of getting anywhere at all. The Democratic field is projected to be full of strong competitors and Tulsi Gabbard isn’t going to be one of them.
