Trump calls out Iran for funding terrorism, spreading mayhem in the Middle East and beyond

Published

on

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump called out the “corrupt dictatorship of Iran” for lining their own pockets and sending proxies to wage war at the expense of the Iranian people.

He defended his decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal, noting that since the deal was signed Iran’s military budget has risen 40%. He also called for other countries to join the United States in sanctioning and applying economic pressure on the Islamic nation.

My Take

This wasn’t the President’s best delivery of a speech. He is best when speaking off the cuff rather than reading from a teleprompter. Nonetheless, the words he spoke were true and appropriate for the world stage of the United Nations.

The message itself was strong even if the delivery was lackluster.

Boko Haram continues its reign of terror

Boko Haram continues its reign of terror

American media often neglects to report on Boko Haram, the Islamic State of west Africa. After a “resolution” was achieved following the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping incident of 2014, the group has gone widely unreported by western media.

These men are butchers, arguably more dangerous than any other Islamic State operations and completely out of control as they roam Africa in search of innocent targets. The latest were a dozen farmers who were hacked to pieces by Boko Haram with their machetes.

Dozens Of Farmers Feared Killed In Borno By Boko Haram Insurgents

https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/271792/dozens-of-farmers-feared-killed-in-borno-by-boko-haram-insur.htmlA Civilian JTF Leader, Baba Kura Konomi on Saturday in Maiduguri disclosed to newsmen that the farmers were killed, without firing any shot from the guns mounted on the two trucks.

He said: “The insurgents used machetes instead of guns to kill the farmers who were working on their farmlands, located about 185-kilometres along Maiduguri-Damboa road.”

It isn’t just western media that’s ignoring them. Even local media often refrains from publishing stories about them while the government turns a blind eye, usually waiting until the stories are reported by outside agencies before acknowledging the events even happened.

At any random moment, residents anywhere in west Africa realize they may become targets.

Western news agencies do not cover Boko Haram because western media consumers do not seem to care about them. This attitude is not only dangerous for the victims. It empowers these terrorists to achieve their ultimate goal of spreading terror everywhere.

Mastermind behind Iranian parade attack allegedly killed

Mastermind behind Iranian parade attack allegedly killed

Iranian state television is reporting the mastermind behind last months’ terrorist attack on a military parade in Ahvaz, Iran. 25 people were killed, including a dozen members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

An alleged member of the Islamic State, Abu Zaha, was killed by Iran along with four other militants in Diyala province in Iraq. They gave no indication of how the operation was carried out. Though the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack, many believe it was the Ahwaz National Resistance, an Iranian separatist group that also claimed responsibility.

Iran Claims It Has Killed Mastermind of Deadly Attack on Parade

https://www.algemeiner.com/2018/10/16/iran-claims-it-has-killed-mastermind-of-deadly-attack-on-parade/The Sunni Muslim Islamic State group, in decline in Iraq and Syria, considers the majority Shi’ite Muslims of Iran to be heretics.

Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said those responsible for the parade attack were paid by Sunni Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and that Iran will “severely punish” those behind the violence.

My Take

It behooves Iran to get their justice from the Islamic State rather than Ahwaz National Resistance. ISIS is an easy operator to blame for the attacks whether they did it or not. It’s believable and presents an enemy that isn’t as close to home as Ahwaz National Resistance. It also allows them to maintain their narrative that ISIS is funded by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

We’ll likely never know if Zaha was really the mastermind behind the attack. If similar attacks happen in the coming months, it’s likely that Ahwaz National Resistance is behind them, not ISIS.

Portland, Oregon: The canary in a coal mine for the violent Left

Portland Oregon The canary in a coal mine for the violent Left

We cannot afford to be provoked into what we despise.

Several disturbing videos have surfaced over the past few days of the fascist ‘anti-fascists’ taking over the streets of Portland, Oregon. In what would appear to be the leading edge of the violent left attempting to recreate the vehicular murder in Charlottesville Virginia.

One video from the group shows them ‘Directing traffic’ by threats and intimidation on the city’s streets while Law enforcement passively stands by. [Language Warning, Language Warning,Language Warning,]

In another video, the violent Leftists surround a man’s vehicle in an attempt to recreate an incident. When he refuses to head their ‘orders’ they chase him down, hypocritically yelling to call for Law enforcement. He was later ‘doxxed’ by the thugs in black.

The Takeaway

Keep in mind that the are the actions of people losing the argument. The Kavanaugh confirmation closed one more door to the forced implementation of the Left’s Socialist national agenda. That is the primary reason they are becoming increasing unhinged. They are embracing that failed ideology because they have no other place to go. Trying to buy votes with enticements that can never come to fruition is the act of a desperate political movement.

It is important to remember that we do not rise to these blatant provocations. We have the better ideas that will see us through the storm.
