Steve Deace posted his bullet points for his CRTV program regarding the Alabama special election on Facebook. One bullet point I shall point out:
The Republican Party is not our home and hates us. Every day we stay out of fear of what the Democrats will do just makes it that much longer we, and our children, will suffer under this current, corrupt paradigm. And corrupt ourselves for it as well.
I agree with him that our last chance to make change within the system came last year when the Republicans (and that includes conservatives) chose Donald J. Trump instead of Ted Cruz. Cruz was truly the conservative that could enact real change. Trump so far has pushed a conservative agenda. Reagan, he is not, but he has pushed conservative ideals and I agree with CRTV colleague Mark Levin on that. Levin, however, still tries to fight within the system and is not likely going to leave at this time. I can only hope that Levin does not get corrupted by the GOP, to one degree or another.
Deace has given up on the Republican Party and so should we. He points to his rough childhood and the difficulty he had to deal with, especially his abusive stepfather who would manipulate his own family (especially his mother) to convince them that they need him. There is a fear of being on our own with no one to help us. That fear actually only emboldens the wicked to keep people trapped in a situation that could eventually break the innocent. The Republican Party needs our votes, but they hate our values of limited government and free-market capitalism. They are more interested in crony capitalism/socialism aka public/private partnership.
If you are a Christian you need to learn how to conquer and overcome the fear and wickedness of the world. Stand still and wait for the salvation of the LORD. It will be hard to do, but we must have our own Exodus. Be grateful you were not those Israelites who were Egyptian slaves in the days of Moses. I will vote Republican if there is an individual that I can truly support. However, I will not give money to the party at all. If I do give money it will go directly to the candidate.
Pray for revival in America, and pray that God will move the hearts of his people to truly lead. Only that will bring real change. Change can only happen through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That should not stop us from supporting a political party like the Federalist Party, and actually be a party that makes the change, and not just be a spoiler for the presidential elections. We also must raise our children with a Christian worldview, coupled with critical thinking skills that they hopefully can use to challenge and humble those who would challenge God’s law and His grace.
It is like that cheezy song from Frozen:
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don’t care
what they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway
Yep, let the GOP go and slam the door right in their face. They can take it. Let them have their agenda of crony capitalism/socialism. The storm will rage on, but God will comfort us in the cold, even if we think he is not.

Covid variant BA.5 is spreading. It appears milder but much more contagious and evades natural immunity. Best to boost your immune system with new Z-Dtox and Z-Stack nutraceuticals from our dear friend, the late Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
Better idea than giving to a candidate: Give to an independent expenditure fund (or do the IE yourself). That way, 100 cents of every dollar you give gets deployed to a campaign, and not to “general administrative” expenses like consultants.
As an appendage of the Republican Party they served in misplaced intentions, like the virulent fanatical Brown Shirts of Hitler, they have been thrown a few bones by those who control the GOP, as ground troops that served hollow idols until they too were are thrown to the dogs as the Brown Shirts were. Europe has had a history of the conservative Christian Democrats but that was not a Protestant Catholic Liberal Evangelical Orthodox party but they too were sacrificed (crucified) as when they dared to deal with the reformist Euro-Communist PC of Italy, that saw in 1978 Prime Minister Aldo Moro was sacrificed under Jimmy Carter by US intelligence Aldo Moro’s Christian Democrats who betrayed an honest Christian Democrat in what guaranteed his execution by the Red Brigades that was infiltrated by the Intelligence Services (East and West). For capitalist politics is decadent and corrupt economically since it has not advanced past the Ricardo School of Economics in 1820 nor the philosophical conflict between Schopenhauer concerning will and Hegel.
Where generally conservatives are victims of their collectively misplaced memories history that often varies from one extreme to another, where it is a pity they have to as of yet to rise above the half baked rhetoric of opportunism that they have immersed themselves in and drank freely.
“Jesus Christ” indeed and he a nice guy who breathed ate drank and slept that stayed at my house for a night that blond hair and a Virginia Drivers License and who had little if anything in common with what most think.
Glad to hear this. Keep it rolling…
The Republican party has undergone some profound changes since the Reagan era.
No longer is there a unifying or an underlying conservative ideology that unites the party.
Conservatives voters can no longer just assume that political candidates who run as Republicans will govern as conservatives and advance a conservative agenda if they are elected into office.
As president Trump so astutely noted, Republicans have become part of the same swamp that needs to be drained.
Conservatives no longer have a place at the table within the Republican party.
