James Woods is famous for four things. He’s a retired movie star. He’s very popular on Twitter. He’s a rare conservative in Hollywood. He loves poker. Now, he’s a witness to a crime.
So we are playing poker at the @BellagioPoker and a guy walks up with a gun and robs the cage thirty feet from us ten minutes ago.

While playing at the Bellagio poker room, the cage was robbed by an armed man in a wig. Apparently, he was very close to the action but didn’t know what was happening at the time.
.@Bellagio staff were fantastic. They surrendered the money quietly, so no customers would get hurt. Nobody even realized it was happening. Excellent staff, cool under pressure.

As is standard operating procedure, the robbery was handled quietly so as not to arouse guests or increase turmoil. The robber fled in a Chevrolet Cruze, license plate 37D147, and had one person accompanying him, though it’s possible the person with him was not a willing participant in the crime.
Woods noted the professionalism of the staff:

This is being treated by police as an armed robbery and possible kidnapping.
