Update: President Trump Tweeted a teaser last night. Some are betting on it being and announcement about the investigation.
I will be making a major statement from the @WhiteHouse upon my return to D.C. Time and date to be set.

How much do you want to bet that this is an investigation of Hillary Clinton? https://t.co/Je9QkDWWO4

Original Story
Reports out of DC indicate Attorney General Jeff Sessions is weighing the options for investigating the Obama-era Uranium One deal that gave a Russian-owned company partial control over our nuclear energy resources. He’s considering appointing a special counsel to look into these and other allegations relating to Hillary Clinton including Clinton Foundation donations, intelligence community unmaskings, and former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the Clinton email investigation.
The Clintons have weathered previous investigations into their activities, but not since Kenneth Starr have either been involved in the depth of investigation being considered by Sessions.
President Trump had made it a point to threaten the Clintons with investigation if he won, but after the election toned down. In recent weeks, he’s been very vocal on Twitter about investigating “Crooked Hillary” and the Democrats, even being mocked at one point for asking why his own Justice Department wasn’t doing so.
The scope of the investigation posed twice by Rep. Robert Goodlatte would be huge and would include looking into several prominent members of the Obama administration. No word yet about whether Sessions is going to move forward.

Sessions weighs second special counsel to probe Clinton-related matters
Officials told The Hill that the Justice Department is also currently investigating several issues related to Clinton Foundation donations, the unmasking of American identities by the intelligence community and former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, all of which could lead to the appointment of a second special prosecutor if the facts warrant.
The letter comes in response to the repeated appeal of Rep. Robert Goodlatte (R-Va.), chairman of the Judiciary panel, who called on Sessions twice this year to appoint a second special counsel who could independently investigate these concerns.
Goodlatte had particularly taken aim at Comey after revelations surfaced earlier this year that he had drafted a statement ending the agency’s investigation into Clinton’s email server before over a dozen key witnesses, including herself, had been interviewed about the issue.

yawn – just more red meat tor the Trump fanatics – stir up the base with rumors and promiises, then then produce nothing concrete.
Let us know when an actual investigation is started – Trump would lose too many of his NYC society “friends” if he allowed the Clintons to be investigated. He might even get investigated himself by the next president – and we ALL know that no on in Trump’s circle could stand up to scrutiny by a non-partisan investigator that is TRULY interested in justice.
WE see Trump’s campaign minions falling now. Trump’s family and even Trump himself should also be on the radar. If nothing else it would send a message that at least ONE prosecutor in DC has not been bought off.
