In what appears to be a rogue employee on his/her last day trying to be funny, make a mark, and/or do the country a service, President Trump’s Twitter account was deactivated for 11 minutes. Twitter has not released the name of the former employee nor whether or not it was intentional, but many Twitter users are assuming it was done on purpose.
Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review. https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF

Trump’s supporters have often praised the President for utilizing Twitter as a primary method of communication, heralding his directness and lack of a filter. Detractors warn that he’s making a fool of himself and the country with his oft-unhinged use of the social media site.
The account is alive and active now, for better or for worse.

Twitter, Inc. Refers to The Resistance as “Human Error”
Earlier today, Twitter announced that Donald Trump’s Twitter account had been rendered inactive for eleven minutes. They attributed it to “human error” and were investigating.
It turns that the human error was actually a member of The Resistance. The employee, probably a millennial, determined that his judgment should reign supreme and he could be the sole arbiter of the President’s Twitter account.
