It would seem that Germany has caught Iran being a very bad totalitarian regime. They have tried to buy nuclear technology illegally no less than 32 times. And that’s just the attempts we know of. I guarantee you that is just the tip of the nuclear iceberg. This is technology that could be used for military nuclear and ballistic missile programs. I’m pretty sure that’s a violation of the 2015 agreement that Obama and Kerry so foolishly thought would stop Tehran’s insane drive to become a nuclear power. Three German intelligence reports are saying this and they were obtained by Fox News.
This new intel from September and October of last year shows the rogue regime made “32 procurement attempts … that definitely or with high likelihood were undertaken for the benefit of proliferation programs.” President Trump is set to announce Thursday whether the US will recertify the Iran deal or not… and we probably won’t. But that won’t slow Iran down. The 32 attempts took place in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Imagine how many other countries Iran is attempting to make deals in. The disclosed intel lists Iran as a nation that engages in proliferation, which is defined as “spreading atomic, biological or chemical weapons of mass destruction.” That’s a kind way of describing the biggest purveyor of terrorism on the planet and we funded them thanks to Obama and Kerry. Missile delivery systems were also included in the definition of illicit proliferation activity in the report.
It would seem that Iran is using front companies in the UAE, Turkey and China to get around pesky international restrictions on its nuclear and missile programs. And you can bet they also have help from Russia and North Korea. The Iran deal was put into effect on Jan. 16th, 2016. This intel covers all of 2016, but not what has happened this year. I’m sure the activity has become much more frenzied regardless of what we hear in the media. One thing is fairly certain, they aren’t in compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA.
Most of the attempts by Iran in 2016 to get a hold of this technology, were to boost their missile programs. In 2015, there were 141 attempts by Iran that we know of to secure illicit goods for proliferation purposes. In a second report, the German state of Hessen said Iran, Pakistan, North Korea and Sudan use “guest academics” for illegal activities related to nuclear and other weapons programs. “An example for this type of activity occurred in the sector of electronic technology in connection with the implementation of the enrichment of uranium,” the document reads. I’m just wondering why we have waited so long to stand up to these monsters. It may in fact be too late to head off their nuclear dreams. Plus, they have the backing of Russia and China if it comes to war. They are also utilizing “research exchanges at universities in the sector of biological and chemical procedures” for foreign intelligence services. In other words… spies and espionage.
Marco Rubio is not the only one concerned that Iran is helping Syria develop its chemical warfare program. A number of security experts have been ringing that alarm bell for some time. Russia is also in the thick of it. “Congress and the White House should work together to hold the Assad regime accountable for its war crimes and impose harsh sanctions against its enablers,” Rubio told Fox News. So far, that hasn’t happened. Iran is working freely on its missile program. “With ballistic missiles and long-range rockets, Iran will be in the position to not only be able to threaten Europe,” a third intelligence report stated.
UN Security Council resolution 2231 states that “activities with Iran for nuclear and non-nuclear civilian end uses” should be sent to a technical UN working group on procurement. Like that will make any difference at all. It’s laughable. Germany was asked if they reported the illicit exports and the unlawful attempts and they said, “We have no indication of Iran violating its JCPOA commitments. Quite on the contrary, the recent 2016 Report of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution states that there is no evidence of Iran violating the JCPOA. Having said that, we remain worried by Iran’s missile program. The aforementioned report, as well as reports from regional intelligence authorities, shows that Germany is highly vigilant in this regard and will continue to do so. However, this issue is outside the scope of the JCPOA and needs to be dealt with separately.” What bull crap.
Sigmar Gabriel, the outgoing Social Democrat foreign minister of Germany, has made several trips to Iran since 2015 to boost trade with Tehran. Gabriel is widely considered one of Europe’s most energetic advocates of the Iran deal. So, you see… Germany, just like Obama, Clinton and Kerry, benefits from all of this if they let Iran gain access to nuclear technology. Even if it brings on Armageddon.
