Colin Kaepernick donated $25,000 to a ‘Resistance’ group honoring convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur

If you weren’t convinced that Colin Kaepernick was a communist, cop-hating racist before, perhaps this will sway you. He’s a big fan of convicted cop murderer and wanted terrorist, Assata Shakur. So much so, his foundation donated 25,000 last April to Assata’s Daughters, a Chicago “direct action” resistance organization honoring Assata Shakur, who escaped prison and fled to Cuba after being found guilty in the 1973 murder of Officer Werner Foerster.

You just have to wonder if all these people and players who are taking a knee during the National Anthem really know who and what they are supporting.

Background: Who is Shakur?

Further background on Shakur: Joanne Chesimard is wanted for escaping from prison in Clinton, New Jersey, while serving a life sentence for murder. On May 2nd, 1973, Chesimard, who was part of a revolutionary activist organization known as the Black Liberation Army, along with two accomplices, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on the New Jersey Turnpike by two troopers with the New Jersey State Police. At the time, Chesimard was wanted for her involvement in several felonies, including bank robbery. Chesimard and her accomplices opened fire on the troopers, seemingly without provocation. One trooper was wounded and the other was shot and killed execution-style at point-blank range. Chesimard fled the scene, but was subsequently apprehended. One of her accomplices was killed in the shootout and the other was also apprehended and remains in jail. In 1977, Chesimard was found guilty of first degree murder, assault and battery of a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to kill, illegal possession of a weapon and armed robbery. She was sentenced to life in prison. On November 2nd, 1979, Chesimard escaped from prison and went underground before being located in Cuba in 1984. She is thought to currently still be living in Cuba under the protection of the communist Castro regime. Barack Obama refused to demand she be extradited to the US.

Analysis

Colin Kaepernick’s donation includes $2,500 for CopWatch, a program that trains volunteers to follow and video police, and $15,000 for teen training, part of the group’s commitment to “develop and train young people, ages 4-19, in the Black queer feminist tradition and in the spirit of Assata.” They also have strong ties to the New Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam. Kaepernick is so enamored with Shakur, he retweeted a July 16th message wishing her a happy birthday. His donation was part of a pledge he made last year to donate $1 million over 10 months to “organizations working in oppressed communities.” Those would be mostly terrorist organizations run by militant racists.

Colin Kaepernick charity donates $25,000 to Assata’s Daughters – Washington Times

“Basically our organization is a part of a much larger movement that is fighting for the abolition of prisons, police and anti-blackness itself,” said Assata’s Daughters adult coordinator in a video.

Assata’s Daughters described its role as “one of helping to escalate, deepen and sustain the Black Lives Matter movement.”

“We believe it is our duty to fight for our freedom,” the group says on its website. “We believe it is our duty to fight for freedom. We come together in struggle as radical Black feminists and organizers, under the shared respect, love and study of Assata Shakur.”

Both Kaepernick and Assata’s Daughters are working in tandem with Black Lives Matter, which was the motivating force behind Colin taking a knee to protest the National Anthem, America, the flag and police brutality. His girlfriend is a leader in the Black Lives Matter movement. It is one facet of a nationwide network of domestic terrorist organizations on the left that are impacting America. Their basis is communist in nature and they are exceedingly violent. They work with Antifa out of convenience, but dislike them as well. They all want prisons abolished and prisoners freed. They also want police done away with… it’s part of a communist agenda.

To date, Kaepernick has donated $900,000 in grants to 31 organizations. Everything from Meals on Wheels, to advocacy groups pushing a left-of-center agenda on issues like abortion, climate change, criminal-justice reform and immigration. He has morphed into a full-fledged political activist for the extreme left.

Kaepernick has given $25,000 to 350.org, a climate change organization dedicated to fighting fossil fuels. He also gave 25,000 to the Center for Reproductive Rights, a pro-choice advocacy group. He has also donated $50,000 to the Dakota Access pipeline protest and 25,000 to United We Dream to help keep DACA in place. Colin has very close ties to the Women’s March, including its organizers Tamika D. Mallory, Carmen Perez and Linda Sarsour. His foundation gave $25,000 in June to the Gathering for Justice NYC, headed by Perez. On August 24th, Mallory and Sarsour made an appearance at a pro-Kaepernick rally outside the NFL headquarters. Sarsour, Kaepernick and his girlfriend are also Muslim. Kaepernick converted a while back. Sarsour is a radical, militant Islamist with terrorist ties to Hamas. The Women’s March posted on Facebook this week in honor of Kaepernick, “#TaketheKnee [is] on the right side of history today — not just NFL players, but all of YOU. Show your support for the athletes siding with justice.”

The Takeaway

You just have to wonder if all these people and players who are taking a knee during the National Anthem really know who and what they are supporting. It’s really not about racism. It’s about communism. Kaepernick faced criticism for his defense of former Cuban strongman Fidel Castro and wearing a T-shirt showing a 1960 meeting between Castro and Malcolm X. None of that was by accident. By taking a knee, you proclaim a number of things… hatred of police, America in general and the military. You also show your support of violent radicalism and communism. You join the ranks of militants and terrorists.
