Weve always been at war with Eurasia

On Wednesday, as Daily Caller reports, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders asserted that Donald Trump has “always wanted responsible immigration reform,” including legislative amnesty for DREAMers.

Wut.

I’m old enough to remember all the way back to last year when Trump pledged time and again during the campaign, “There will be no amnesty.” I vaguely recall strong anti-illegal immigration reform being a central pillar of Trump’s platform.

The Atlantic found that the top two concerns facing white working-class voters in 2016 (approximately two-thirds of whom opted for Trump) were: 1) “anxiety about cultural change,” specifically that “the American way of life needs to be protected from foreign influence,” and 2) immigration, although I would argue that the two issues are largely similar when immigrants, legal or otherwise, refuse to assimilate to Western Civilization.

But no, Trump has “always” been in favor of amnesty, especially for DACA beneficiaries. The intellectually honest on both Right and Left will recognize this absurd lie as exactly that, but I’m concerned by how many of Trump’s supporters have jumped aboard this revision of very recent history. Unfortunately, this is hardly a new problem.

In George Orwell’s 1984, which Hillary Clinton believes is about why it’s so important to trust political leaders and journalists, the central country of Oceania is involved in a perpetual war with Eurasia and has allied with Eastasia. Ensuring an appearance of consistency, the government claims that it has always been at war with Eurasia and edits all historical materials to reflect such, despite the protagonist’s recollection of an alliance with Eurasia as recently as four years prior.

At one critical moment, the government reverses its loyalties again, with an official switching the name of the enemy to Eastasia mid-sentence, causing the crowd to “discover” that nearby flags and posters declaring Eastasia an ally are false propaganda linked to a conspiracy to undermine the government.

Almost instantly, everyone accepts that Eastasia has always been their enemy, and Eurasia has always been their ally.

Snatches of this frightening dystopian doublethink are readily observable today, and not just regarding Sanders’s stunning declaration that Trump has always supported amnesty.

Countless Trump cultists refuse to acknowledge that Trump has spent over two-thirds of his life (half a century) as a Democrat, plus his time as an Independent and a member of the Reform Party.

Millions of Evangelical voters who disappeared in 2012 on supposedly moral grounds, refusing to vote for a Mormon, have incorporated doublethink to the point of seeing an unfaithful man of multiple marriages like Trump as a moral champion.

Try to get a Trump devotee to admit that the president has repeatedly called for single-payer healthcare and is a longtime personal friend of the Clintons. It will never work.

Contrary to Madam Clinton’s interpretation, some of the key takeaways from Orwell’s clarion call are the dangers of letting others do the thinking for you by submitting unquestioningly on the testimony of corrupt media and politicians. The book is a warning against cultist devotion to a totalitarian government.

Maybe someday progressives like Hillary and Trump will convince us to love Big Brother and call four fingers five. But for right now, they’re not fooling anyone. We know who we’re at war with, and I certainly hope we don’t forget our allies.

Democratic Socialist Candidate Auction off the Sun to fund vote buying agenda

A Satirical look at how the Socialist-Left could try to purchase electoral support when there is no more money in the till and confiscatory taxation will ruin the economy.

The Bronx: In a stunningly brilliant move of fiscal genius, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez propsed a plan to auction off the star of the solar system to fund her vote-buying agenda. “The easiest way to obtain the cash to purchase everyone’s vote would be to sell the Sun to the highest bidder on e-bay”.

In her hastily assembled news conference, Ms. Cortez explained her plan to sell  that which provides most of the energy to the planet, not to mention the cause of Climate change.  Taxes are already too high, so her solution was to simply auction off that which provides most of the energy to the planet, not to mention the cause of Climate change. Ms. Cortez elaborated further “Let’s face it, when we say the rich should pay their fair share, that really means taking their property and using it to buy votes with free-stuff”.

In a related development, the cost of the National Socialist healthcare scheme has been estimated at $32-Trillion.

When asked how they had the right to auction off a celestial body, she responded that we don’t actually own the property we steal from the taxpayers to use in buying votes, or that we tax a clear, odourless gas that is present everywhere in the galaxy, so why should the Sun be any different?

Her campaign spokesperson Sol explained that the minimum bid will be $20 Trillion dollars and they are only accepting all cash offers. The winning bidder could then take possession and charge anyone using the sun for Light, heat or energy.

Please note that as we mentioned in the subheading, this is SATIRE, as that is the 11th word of the article.

Did Putin try to bug the White House with a soccer ball?

Did Putin try to bug the White House with a soccer ball

The world of espionage is rife with creative attempts to listen in on conversations, access devices, and keep tabs on people of interest. Russian President Vladimir Putin may or may not have attempted one of the most interesting when he gave a soccer ball to President Trump that contained a NFC chip.

Before anyone screams foul, it was likely inadvertent and not a bungled attempt to spy on Americans. The Near Field Communication chip was designed by Adidas to make it a “smart ball” that could transmit data relevant to soccer players. It’s relatively common and similar to the balls used during this year’s World Cup.

The Soccer Ball Putin Gave Trump Has an Adidas Transmitter Chip in It: Report

https://www.newsweek.com/adidas-soccer-ball-transmitter-chip-putin-1042734According to Adidas’ website, the digital technology is called “Near Field Communication” (NFC) which enables a phone or tablet to send “radio frequency signals” that interacts with the NFC chip. It allows players to access special information and games online after connecting. Adidas says the NFC tag cannot be modified and can only send information, not receive it.

“It is not possible to delete or rewrite the encoded parameters,” Adidas says.

As it turns out, the chip can allegedly be hacked, though reports of such things are scant. Who would hack a soccer ball chip?

Get ready to check your Thin Privilege

Published

on

In the world of Social Justice Warriors, there are two types of people: victims and oppressors. The victims are incapable of doing wrong. Meanwhile, the oppressors are privileged and responsible for society’s problems, specifically the perceived actions of their ancestors.

This week, Twitter has taken to promoting a new victimhood status: obesity. The oppressors of obese people are thin people, and the tool of the oppressors is Thin Privilege. It’s important to make a distinction between overweight and obese.

Overweight implies being above average. Obese is being above average to the point of health complications. Cora Harrington, a minor feminist figure, went viral during a thread explaining thin privilege. According to her, one does not need to be thin to be privileged, only to be thought of as thin or normal sized. Her background in fashion contributes to a more industry-specific solution to her concept of thin privilege rather than a broader solution to what she believes is a widespread problem.

Thin Privilege Explained

Enter Intersectionality

If one had to guess, being fat isn’t very high on the victimhood status. But being a fat white straight male might just elevate them among their white straight male counterparts. But in most observable applicability, fat victimhood largely applies to women only. In intersectionality, this gives fat white female feminists a bump against their white women counterparts.

Normalizing Obesity?

Feminism is pushing back against fat-shaming likely stereotypical vagina hat wearing woman is not thought to be thin. The effort in removing the stigma against being obese may be producing adverse effects on society’s health. Last month, a study out of the UK pointed to findings that the normalization of obesity is a contributor to the epidemic. The study found that between 1997 and 2015, there was an increase in the self-misperception of overweight and obese people’s weight status.

The study found that “Those underestimating their overweight and obesity status were 85% less likely to try to lose weight compared with people who accurately identified their weight status.” The increase in health consciousness in America is certainly being met with an increased countercultural fat promoting feminist culture. This year colleges have begun to address “fatphobia” in an effort to promote “body positivity and social justice.” It’s very possible the same study if performed in America would yield similar if not more disturbing results.

There is a massive effort by feminist to reshape what society defines as attractive. Feminist believe that what society has found attractive was the spawn of misogyny and the ominous Patriarchy. Body positivity is meant to reinforce the beauty of women of all shapes and sizes.

This, however, denies the biological component of attraction. Boiling it down, what humans find most attractive are features and proportions that are mostly average. The biological component in males takes into account health and childbearing capabilities. In morbid obesity, both of these are reduced. So logically, one would find this less attractive. If there was a culprit for thin-privilege, it isn’t misogyny; it’s biology.
